... a beautiful graph

Following on from yesterdays adventure into temperature control today's graph was beautiful to see. The anomaly in the second penultimate cycle shown below was a problem where the elasticsearch Raspberry Pi got a bit too hot on top of the fermentation fridge :-(

The temperature readings from the thermowell are a bit tedious to dig out from syslog, however the thermowell readings were a little easier to get as that was running with lots of debug enabled so they could be re-submitted.





If the iSpindel is to believed it looks like we have gone from the Original Gravity of 1.052 to 1.042 in 48 hours. The only benchmark I have is a gut feel that fermentation is most active after 24-48 hours (based on temperature swings) and slows down after 72 hours. Hopefully this means so far on track.
