A long time since the last brew day, I haven't yet rewritten much of the software yet.

I had started converting YANG to a YIN derived structure (called CRUX), but that was overly complex. I had since found libyang and in paritcular libyang-cffi bindings.

python-yang-voodoo has been born, it is far better than the conversion approach - there are still some complexities - but the very basic cases works. The more complex cases are not quite as friendly to work with.

CLI is not properly started, python-yang-voodoo makes it easier (probably).
